For those who are concerned

I am eighty-eight (88) years old and in good health for the most part, the problem is, my eye sight Is failing, and my Parkinson’s tremor in my right hand make it difficult to type. I am working with a Neurologist to help with my tremors, and I am planning to have Cataract surgery to improve my eyesight.
This will take time, and for now I will have to put this Blog, the Registry and the Online Store on hold. The Dave Moulton Group Facebook was a good way to stay in touch with everyone but for whatever reason my FB account was cancelled, and they would not even correspond with me to rectify the problem.
I gave up on social media, there is so much nastiness and hate I don’t need it. I will try to post stuff here when I have something to say, and my limitations allow me.
Everything comes to an end at some point, with your interest and care a few of my bikes will last a little longer.
Thanks for your contined interest, take care.
Dave

Thanks for all you've done so far, and for all you'll do in the future.
Cheers,
Martin
Good to hear from you Dave. Continue the good fight. Chin up!
Jack
Thank you for the update and for all you’ve done for cycling. Best of luck!
Good on you Mr Moulton. Sorry to hear about the health issues. It's an ambition of mine to own Fuso one day. Trouble is availability this side of the Atlantic. They are very few and far between.
Thanks for the update! Good luck with your medical treatments, and thanks for everything you've posted on your blog. I've found it very interesting learning about your work as a framebuilder, your experiences growing up in the UK and moving to the US, and the other observations that you've posted. I look forward to the occasional post if and when you're able to do so.
Dave, I echo the sentiments of the others who have posted. Thank you so much for sharing so much! it has added value to many lives.
I am 74 and a bit younger and not as active or healthy driven as you but feel blessed with what I can still do.
Both eyes have had the cataract experience and less replacements. One of the best events for me as I had macular scaring due to a bike accident in 2009. The surgery to fix that resulted in 90% improvement in vision for that eye. but accelerated the need for cataracts. I no longer need glasses to do most activities, only to read and do computer activities. 20/20 vision for the first time in decades.
I wish you the best as you get older and face the upcoming challenges.
I am the skibidi lost sigma from ohio!! ratatouille
We have been such fortunate and lucky beneficiaries for all you have shared so generously with us. Wishing you all the best with your medical treatments.
Hope you can successfully overcome your health issues.
Thanks for all you have done.
Sir, thank you for being the inspiration that bikes with smaller wheels can be practical personal transportation. Many have ideas and vision, but few make them a reality as you have. I hope to make my vision of a collapsible 12” bike that will easily fit in all airline carryon luggage (aiming for 22” x 13.5” x 8” and still have a 40” wheelbase). Once again, that you for being part of that inspiration.
To Douglas McKinley Sr: I believe you are confusing the author of this blog, Dave Moulton, with the late Alex Moulton, who pioneered the rubber-suspension small-wheeled bicycle.
Hope You can successfully overcome your health issues.
Thanks for all You have done.
Dear Dave, although never having seen a fuso or Dave Moulton bike in the flesh (or steel?), being from overseas, I have nonetheless read your blog over the years with interest and appreciation. Thank you for that, and good luck with everything. Micha
Thank you so much for your blog that I enjoyed for many years and that shows your passion for bikes. I stumbled upon your blog when seeking information about Alex Moulton´s small wheelers of which I have several examples. As a physiotherapist working with geriatric patients I know what you are going through and I wish you all the best!
Regards
Laurens

Finally, get to say thank you, I had beautiful red and white frame built by you in the early 80s, and it was my favorite and
best looking bike I ever owned! Wish I still had it!
July 30 2024 Dave I am now 91 years old, with no real health problems Marcia was in the hospital for one month and got out two days ago, I know you are mad at me and I ask forgiveness, we are too old now to carry grudges. I sincerely hope that you are getting better and Marcia and I wish you and Kathy all the best
